South Pacific Optimization Workshop SPOW 2016

South Pacific Optimization Workshop (SPOW2016) is the fifth conference of the successful series of South Pacific meetings (South Pacific Conferences in Mathematics SPCM2005 and SPCM2010 held in New Caledonia), South Pacific Optimization Meeting in 2013 (SPOM 2013) held in Newcastle, Australia, and South Pacific Continuous Optimization Meeting in 2015 (SPCOM 2015) held in Adelaide, Australia. 

SPOW 2016 is hosted by the University of New Caledonia, and will be held in Noumea, New Caledonia between 16th and 18th of February 2016. It takes place soon after the important Australian mathematics meeting ANZIAM 2016 (7-11 February 2016, Canberra, Australia).

 

The workshop may address all aspects of optimization including:

  • Variational and convex analysis
  • Control theory
  • Vector optimization
  • Stochastic optimization

 

This meeting will bring together about 20-25 researchers from Australia, China, France, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, Spain, USA.
